We were running late to check in & reception stayed open to accommodate this, so after a long trip we were very grateful. The room was clean, comfortable & quiet. Beautiful staff, easy booking system. Awesome sleep :)

The view from our room was lovely. The pool was very inviting and spa pool was large but maybe a little too hot. Nice to have a bath in our room.

We liked the fact that there was a on-site restaurant so we did not have to go out for our meals. The selection and variety of meals was another key point we liked along with the friendliness of the staff. The staff were very approachable and willing to go that extra mile to accommodate our requests. The room was spacious with a nice view towards the harbour

Our room was huge and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the ensuite was a good size. We had a view of the harbour and you can access Netflix etc by logging onto your account on the tv. The staff were awesome, friendly, helpful and professional, breakfast was delicious and well priced.

I always request Room 5. As I have a prosthetic leg I use a wheel chair for the bathroom. I like the shower as it is made for my condition. The food and the menu were excellent.

The Comfort Hotel Flames was a wonderful experience. The room was clean, the staff were exceptionally friendly and eager to fulfill every request, and the view from the balcony was absolutely enchanting. I highly recommend staying here. The surrounding area offers plenty to see and discover, making it a perfect choice for any traveler.

Location very easy to find easy check in and check out staff were very good not to much on us but giving us that good customer service, beautiful view on the beach side, very clean, all over really good place for whangarei

Cafe and restaurant food had good selections. Location of hotel from the airport and into Whangarei was easy to access. Great friendly staff from reception, restaurant and cleaning. Older style hotel but had everything you required and plenty of room. Great sitting on the restaurant deck in the sun having a drink and bite to eat.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and offered a decent view. The fish and chips from the restaurant was really good!
